I created a textured illustration of a peaceful koi fish pond using both traditional and digital media.
I created my textures with traditional media and scanned them to use digitally in Photoshop. I made the flat, colored illustration first, and then I added the textures on top.
I always start my process with paper sketches and thumbnails to explore different ideas and compositions. When my sketch was finalized, I scanned it into Photoshop to start adding color digitally.
