I used mixed media to illustrate a child getting a goodnight hug from his stuffed dinosaurs.
I created the textures with traditional media and scanned them to add digitally in Photoshop.
When my traditional sketch was finalized, I added color digitally with Adobe Illustrator.
I always start my process with paper sketches and thumbnails to explore different compositions and concepts. I sketched dinosaur gestures to figure out how the dinosaurs should look.
